AIRWAYS HEATING LIMITED
Warm Air Heating works by circulating warm air throughout your home, or property using air ducts and vents. Also known as warm air central heating, it is a heating system that turns cool air into warm air by passing it through a heat exchanger and blowing it into rooms through vents in the floor, walls, or ceiling. The heated metal plates within the exchanger heat the cool air as it passes across, turning it into hot air.
Warm air heating systems can be controlled by a thermostat including some of the latest WiFi enabled smart thermostats.
Traditional warm air heating, also known as ducted air or dry systems, was introduced into the UK during the 1960's and 1970's.
High efficiency warm air heating units (typically running at 94-98% efficiency) are available to replace the older style heaters (which will be running on average at 70-75% efficiency)
Warm air heating systems are most effective in well-insulated homes.
